temp in town in my 190 2316

I have a 190 2316 in beautiful con.
I know this model is not designed to be a shopping trolley but when traveling in traffic in town it heats up. The fan seens to work ok, need to try the carrot test... I was thinking about attaching a electric fan manually operated. Can anyone tell me if it is worth doing this?
