Temperature

Can anyone help my wifes 220ce outside temperature gauge has stopped working well the face as no reading on it & as it is winter i think its better to have it working for black ice on the road it was working then stopped this morning i do not know about cars at all can anyone help paul

I think you mean the on board temperature gauge relating to the outdside temperature condition. No point having the ****** thing outside mate you wouldnt be able to read it , what with all that ice and rain etc etc.
Your problem is that the bulb inside the main dash instrument cluster has perished. It is easy to replace by popping out the instrument cluster. You can buy the bulbs at Super cheap Auto and the like. I think in your case better take it to a mechanic near your place and have him replace it, otherwise you might end up causing more damage than it is worth.
It was a lovely scorching 100 f here today. Happy ice skating and keep off that black ice mate.:mrgreen::p
