Good evening everyone.

As of tomorrow, we will be closing the workshop for the foreseeable future.

Whilst we are in a relatively remote location, we have some tentants who feel that having their usual chinwag with 10 people a day is still absolutely fine, so I feel its best to protect me, kerrie, Matt and everyone we may come across during the day.

It's all a bit uncertain at this time, but we will return as soon as possible.

Stay safe AND STAY INDOORS unless you absolutely HAVE to leave.

No parts, MB shutdown, other motor factors shutting down, today was last day for tyres.

Alex have you done this on your own bat ? Or were you notified by the powers to be to close down .. by government ?.

Gov said garages can open, we decided as a duty of care to my staff, families and myself, getting in and out of 10-15 cars a day isn’t safe. To confirm our decision, Colindale mb, owned by mb closed, so no parts available. Although we have a large stock of service parts and common failures for mercs, it wasn’t worth the risk. Stay safe everybody.

We , like STAR, have done it on our own backs. We keep stock of service bits too, but had lots of jobs that needed parts that aren't available from our local dealer partner (lookers group MB) as they have closed as well.

Star yes i understand , but i wanted it done and dusted and not have to wait another 6 months .You know how it is, no matter how good you old car is .Its like going to the dentist every time mot time comes .

As I understand, it’s not extended by 6 months, it’s a rolling extension and will need to be done when safely possible. I could be wrong.
