To confuse this further.

Those in N Wales will often speak with a Liverpool accent, slightly less often a Manchester accent, and occasionally a Birmingham accent.

I find it rare to meet a person of Welsh heritage in these parts.

So someone from Lancashire might well be a Gog, and not to be confused with agog cos I don't think that really applies.
