hi just over a week ago i couldnt start my car so as a aa member igave them acall spent 5 minutes taking the air filter off told me that it was thefuel metering unit offered atow to mercedes garage and told me that it would cost over 1000£ SO week later i got abattery charger from argos 20£ charged for 8 hours car started went for a twenty mile run so the morale of the story is allthough most aa are god send there is allways one bad regards damien happy new year

Don?t believe you because if it were the battery how was it possible for him to try and start the car if it was you battery the engine wouldn?t turn over

Driving home from Christmas the forward gear cluth band on my 300te went (until this point faultless gearbox). I called the AA and there service was quick, polite, professional and very helpful. Despite I only have basic membership my car was recovered on a flat bed to a local (20 miles) specialist and I was delivered home (60 miles) What can I say! they helped me.
