I know about the football and the coffee.

But what about the cars? I believe that some of the A Class were made there. And now, I understand, the CLC.

To the best of my knowledge there's no engineering or manufacturing tradition over there.

Do we think MB can deliver the quality for a world market?

Brazil have produced cars for as long as almost forever. They are also the biggest uder of alternative fuels (can't remember the name of the fuel).

The A class are produced in Rastatt in Germany, at least upto now and although the quality is ok, it's not quite a C, E or S class standards and somehow I do not think Brazil will produce a less quality car than say, C class saloon ex South Africa.
