the dreaded oil in wiring loom fault strikes again

engine managment light still coming on with 02 fault after replacing all o2 sensors in exhaust system checked the wiring loom at the front of the engine under a cover the loom plug connector has oil in i dont suppose this is normal anyone any advise is it easy to fix or dos it need to go to garage

sorry its a 230komp clk on a x plate covered 91000 miles

The oil will be a very good reason to put the light on.

You can fix this yourself get the new plug from MB for the rocker cover it is possible to wash the harness

thanks for the swift reply wont it just leak again into the new plug ive heard storys of it getting all the way up into the ecu is that a new ecu needed

cleaned out the conection then started the engine up checked the conection again and there is fresh oil in it is this the cam shaft adjuster thats leaking anyone any garages that can be recomended near the warwick banbury area
