To be fair there are loads of those contrived number plates around although the spacing isn't usually that bad.

I do notice that my local Sainsbury’s can’t read my plate... might be configured to look for more characters than I’m showing. Although my plate has fully legal characters, spacing and MOT compliant

Weirdly Sainsbury's couldn't read the bog stock legal number plates on Ms Peter's previous daily.
