Hi

My A Class has a rear squeak, well more of a constant screech when she's been driving for a while. Funnily enough the screach stops when I break. I have asked two garages previously if its 'ball barings?' and they say no. So since you are so sage and so kind I hope you can give me some suggestions. I will probably take it to Steve at Avante Garde but I thought if anyone had any other ideas as to the cause I could let him know?.

I love my car and she's an ole gal now 2005 not her age, the year. Its embarrising for both of us as it looks like I dont care about my car and I really do. This has been going on for sometime now, but got really bad recently.

Thank you for any replies.

Caroline

Could be many things, wheel bearing, brake lining, stone in the calliper, foot brake failing, suspension components. Get Steve to get it on a lift and please let’s us know the outcome
