Mb indie finally got to problem, as I said the pump and accumulators were replaced in 2014 and 18,000 miles ago. Apparently the hydraulic fluid was the worst they had ever seen, resembles engine oil, how the he'll can a garage charge a customer £4,000 and what I believe have not changed the fluid. Anyway have ordered a new valve block as one is completely blocked with gunk. See attached invoice , must be right cowboys.

They should have flushed it!! They only used 3L of CHF 11s, not surprised it still looked like crap 7 years later, its mostly the original fluid!

Jeez. Perhaps the owner wouldn't pay for the correct amount to flush the system, after all it does seem a little excessive, and all because MB didn't put bleed valves on the struts.

Unfortunately the real cost of the fluid is not that far off. There are bleed valves on all 4 corners, on the same pipes that supply the struts, but the whole system needs tk be flushed.
