hi,

i own a W168 ,2001 A160.

i just realized something that bugged me for a long time with the CD player (integrated one that came with the car) :

when you put in a 700 megabyte CDs IT WON"T play them well, meaning, it takes along time for tracking the beginning of the tracks on the CD and when it does find them eventually , the CD start playing them from a 30 odd second into the track or something like that.

BUT,

when you are using old format 650 Megabyte Cd's - NO problems what so ever.

how about that ??
anyone else saw that ?

no dependency on the CD marker..

i am using a variety of CDs, it the same phenomenon observed on them all:

when using a 650 Mb Cd , all is fine.

when using 700 Mb CD, things go wrong as i described in my initial post.
