Older Citroen Now :-(
Whilst painting my Callipers the other day I was looking around the wheel arch and noticed the ride height sensors.. They consist of an electrical box with a very small control arm attached to the suspension via tiny ball joints..
The tiny ball joints were rusty with rust stains coming from them.
So I anointed the offending parts with copperslip grease..
Look how pretty it looks in the photo...
As Clarkson would say "What harm can it do"

I was wondering if I have too much spare time on my hands...
Then I worried about "what if I do have too much spare time"..
Then I worried about worrying.
Now I have decided to stop thinking about worrying.....
What if I stop thinking ?? :D

The solution to lifes problems is in the 2nd photo..:D

2002 SL500, 216 CL500, all fully loaded
They are just simple hall sensors and cost about £45 each from MB, they seldom fail, you can replace the link rods with the adjustable ones and change the ride height, but cheaper on STAR

Perhaps a better expression to sum up this situation .........
A team of us was working in a very rural part of Devon. Having lunch at the local public house and I went to the bar where a group of retired locals were supping their pints and overheard one saying "When you get to 84 nothing seems to matter anymore"

They've sussed it,

"I got to worrying so I went to the pub, soon I stopped worrying".
Bliss, 30 odd years of experience.
