I have spent the last two months trying to fix my mercs cold start problem. I have finally come to the conclusion that it is the thermo time switch for the cold start valve. This keeps the cold start valve on for a few seconds after the car has started. My problem is that I cannot find the thermo time switch. The local Merc dealer couldnt tell me for certain...he was unsure! Me car is 190E, 1986, 2.0. Someone out there must know where the thermotime switch is!!!

PS here's a website full of information about the inner workings of the Jetronic system.WWW.mercedesshop.com/wikka/doityourself
