I look at it and think “very nice” but I’d go and buy the 911 instead. Although I would have an SLS, which isn’t such a great car
Didn't think Mercedes made a car that makes me drool, I was wrong.

Dont know the retail price, no point me knowing anyways but suppose the 911 has more thorough bred history an looks better. That GT has a bit too long a nose.I look at it and think “very nice” but I’d go and buy the 911 instead. Although I would have an SLS, which isn’t such a great car
Now I wouldn’t have a 911. I used to sell them back in the 70’s and I always thought they had a funny pedal arrangement, or at least the ones of that era and before did. I just thought the pedals were too long and felt that other cars of that type were nicer to drive. My preferences the old SL’s, Pagoda for example and the Ferrari’s like Daytona. Sounds a bit flash but I had my dream job when I was in my mid/late 20’sI look at it and think “very nice” but I’d go and buy the 911 instead. I really dislike the paint scheme - too much "In your face".

Am I right in thinking that the pedals on older 911's pivot on the floor? Now I wouldn’t have a 911. I used to sell them back in the 70’s and I always thought they had a funny pedal arrangement,
Yes they were Ron. The arm of the pedal was quite long too and you had to lift your foot from the floor to operate them, all very awkward. That was also the period where they would quite easily swap ends without any prior warning.Am I right in thinking that the pedals on older 911's pivot on the floor?
I have never driven one but I did drive an original shape Beetle back in the 80's which was like this and it felt a bit unusual.
£400k one of only 50 made in RHD, further info posted today on that GT. Still love the colour scheme but thinking what i could buy with that sort of money other than this

I agree with your way of thinking, which means we would never be in the target market for a car like this.£400k one of only 50 made in RHD, further info posted today on that GT
