Seems like one of those paint coatings you can get when you buy a new car. Dealers don't like them when you come to sell to them but they love to sell it to you. I think they're a rip off.

They should have George Forman using it and call it the George Forman paint protection programme, use it once and then bin it, just like his grills.

Its easy to say things like established in 1903, etc etc, who's going to check nobody. If it was established in 1985 then it would have been here in the UK some time ago. As for the US navy using it, yer right, who did the testing???

Its just another rubbish product, problem is what are the long term issues using this product, if its only 5 years old then what could happen to your paint in 10 years !!!!! will 99.9% of all americans be driving rusty cars because their paint vanished over night.

Its a gimmik, I wouldn't think for one second, Porsche, MB, BMW would recommend this, what would happen it you had a paint issue and you went to MB and they found out this product was on you car!!! they wouldn't cover it.

maybe things are different in the desert but here in Yorkshire, intense sun light and acid rain aren't a major problem. Neither is pigment fading on my laquered silver metalic.
I had 'supaguard' on my 240. that was tektite gray but would still get a white tinge after a few months. A quick coat of polish and she'd be back to showroom.
At the end of the day, a good wax is as effective as anything and the horror photos they show are the result of shoddy painting, not the effect of weather!
