Yes the split rim, yes I worked it out yesterday. I will be 74 in March and people are popping off all over the place at my age, so I think that I will buy them:Dbefore I depart this world

Yes thats important to me as I always keep the insides clean on the wheels that I have

AMG type 1V are the business. IMO the best wheel for the 230 (apart from the new 5 spoke on the facelift 55). Go for it Malc!

Depends on the size you are planning to get.

If you are planning on more skinny tyres then it will accentuate the gap between the wing and tyre, even though it is only a visual matter, it will look wrong.

As it is your picture does not do justice to the car with your existing wheels, compared to the photo of the car on the beach.

Thanks for the observation, they are 19" and yes will look different. The new SLs come with the option of the 19" and I can get the car lowered by 20mm I think on STAR if needed. The 19" are standard on the 55 and 65
