I am thinking of selling my car (nothing to do with the third born!!) and would like your thoughts on how much it should fetch.

1999 Facelift CLK 230k Convertible

Silver with Blue Hood

61k with Full Mercedes History

18" AMG IV unmarked alloys with nearly new tyres 7.5j front, 8.5j rear

Professional LPG install with discreet lpg filler next to tow eye. Running costs similar to a diesel!


Oh yes I have a orginal roof rack from my previous CLK coupe which I am sure someone would enjoy trying to fit.

I am considering either a E270CDI or a BMW 530d Sports around 2000-2002 model. Your suggestions on the likely two candidates or any othere suggestions most welcome....

When considering the year you're going for, you might want to bear in mind the taxation class. From March 2001 the different classes come into effect, so depending on what you're after, you might want an earlier or later one. If you don't need to save money, then it doesn't matter although I presumed you did if you're going for a used car.
