This Forum and personal messages

Sorry to bother you guys on such a mundane matter.

Sometimes like now when I access this forum today I am not authorised to look at personal messages. I have received some PM previously and managed to respond no problem, yet now I am not allowed to view previous messages! How do I get authorised or override this???

Am I an idiot here? I have written to the administrators on this before but they did not bother to reply.

I was under the impression that you could only send PM's after you had posted a certain amount of times.

I am guessing you managed to PM before as someone else sent you a message first, but I'm not sure

Your reply sort of makes sense. My ability so far to PM is in response to messages sent to me. Annoying as I wanted to go over the messages saved once again. I wonder when i qualify to look at the PMs I have sent and received!

Well if you just keep posting in here it will build up the number of posts

Posting in the benz bin doesn't add to the number of posts so you need to find places outside of there to post

I think the first stage up the ladder is 25 postings, that make you a member.
100 postings makes you are senior member. !000 postings means you are too old and out of date to continue with any merit.

Maybe your software needs updating or add some points of interest. or you could do something to the car.
