With great trepidation at the kind of response I'm likely to receive for asking this ... erm ... how do I activate the headlamp wipers on my 500SEL?

Actually, what I could really do with is an owners manual; any suggestions where I might find one for my W140? (Thanks Pascal!)

As far as i know they should work when you switch on the washers for the windscreen.

They should only work when the headlights are turned on IIRC.

Merecedes-Benz Cheltenham and Gloucester have a manual for £7.50 + VAT - I'm amazed it's so cheap and only wish the servicing was as well .....

Is it for a ring binder version, or is it all on one book for your car. If its the former, did the mention the binder itself?
