i am a owner of a mercedes 1984 300sd turbo diesel , i bought the car wrecked it was hit in the front it only required a grill change and headlight , i bought the car at salvage auction so i didnt hear it run i brought it home charged the battery and it started fine but it has almost no throttle responce when i push the pedal it might take about 2 to 3 sec before rpms start to climb up into the higher range and is very slow to do so . are there any ideas on what i might check first , or any thought on what might be broken , as this is my first mercedes and also first turbo diesel , i would appr. any advice on this car ..... thank you ............ larry
