Can any one help me on this one my rear wheel on my drivers side is tilting inwards \ <like this on my merc 190E 2.3 16 the other side seems to be fine dead straight like all the wheels around its jus my one wheel doing this, can it be the disks or shock as i have tried changing the wheel around from my front to back and its still the same. What can cause it for my wheel to tilt like that??

Either a damaged trailing arm or a worn bush. Possibly a worn or unadjusted wheel bearing. Jack the car up so that the affected whel is clear of the ground. Handbreak on wheels chocked all the safety stuff. Grab hold of the wheel either side and see if it will rock identifying play in one of the bearings/bushes. Bushes can be a little harder to diagnose. You will need to get something like a nail bar/crow bar into the joint to prize it apart.

Hi

Agree with most of what Tim is saying. One of the links is worn maybe a close inspection should be carried out as side to side or top and bottom shaking of the wheels does not always show up the fault. Check the spring is not cracked & has moved. Check deep in the spring carrier & at the top also. It could be just the car sits too low on the this side.

Good luck.
