Time for a change??

I keep finding myself drawn to changing my W163 ML270 for a W164 ML320CDI. I have absolutely no experience of the new model other than I have seen a few on the road. Does anyone know of any problems with them??

The 280CDI seems a bit of a nonsense to me, as the fuel consumption is higher than the 320??

I have had absolutely no problems with the current one in the last 36000 miles, and feel quite guilty to be shunning it slightly...

Well that 320CDI is a great engine, and the 163 is a nice big beast, isnt it the same power to weight ratio thing

The 280 is the same engine just with a smaller turbo. Not a lot of point really.
