So u guess ur breathable covers are only designed for indoors?
The most common breathable covers on the market are made of spun Polypropelene of various grades, thicknesses and number of layers. They will keep showers off the car completely, but heavy and persistent rainfall will eventually batter through, in part. So your car would get wet, but not totally soaked.
You can identify these by their dimple/golf ball top surface.

Sadly some vendors claim these type of covers are waterproof (or maybe 'water resistant' - a very misleading phrase as a paper bag is water resistant...though only a tiny bit) - as per the above, our Breathable covers are not 'waterproof', but if total waterproofness is important to you, then you simply have 2 options:
1. A waterproof cover that is not breathable - many of the silver coated or plastic/rubber coated types
2. A waterproof cover that is waterproof AND breathable. Like our Waterproof & Breathable covers.

Type 2 costs more as its doing 2 things.

I happily use one of our Breathable Protector4 covers outside on a sound coupe as a bit of water sometimes wont hurt it. Breathable outdoor covers can of course be used indoors too.

I hope this is informative.

Morethanpolish I will aplogise for what i said about your inferior car cover because i know nothing about them . But i did not like what you said. The Monsoon is a fully water proof cover, and it is only used in the winter from November till March . As for the flaps doing nothing as you said ,, well they do ,, when we get a slight wind the flaps lift up to circulate air under the cover . Any way i am a happy owner of a fully water proof car cover . And if others need a good dry car throughout the winter get a Monsoon car cover . Take a lesson from an actual owner ..

Thank you for your apology, duly accepted. Pleased you are happy with the performance of what you have.

The final comment of course assumes that all commercial companies that sell items have no personal experience of using them, and have not collected anecdotal evidence from talking to thousands of actual owners of many cover types over a very long period of time.

Now ordered for £79.99 from Amazon - the £10 saving will more than cover the return postage to the original poster on here who is too busy to respond to unreasonable customers who have not received what they ordered.

Item ordered arrived this morning - the correct item as ordered.

That is customer service - expectations fulfilled.

Just need to wait to see how long it takes to get refund on incorrectly supplied item returned last week.

The item has just arrived back and a full refund has been made already.

Errors happen, we're human...we just prefer it that customers make confirmed contact with us before quickly posting up on public groups.

To be fair, I did contact your company by e-mail sent at 10:40 on Wednesday 19th to say that the package had been received and asked about the additional components that should have been provided as part of the "value pack".

I did not receive any response and posted the same on here the following morning.

Shortly thereafter, you posted on here that I should contact you by DM or phone - I chose to contact you by DM.

You did not respond to my original e-mail, nor my subsequent DM which was sent as requested by you, so I posted on here that I was returning the item to you.

Errors do happen, but in my experience it is how you respond to these errors that matters, so please do not suggest that I failed to make contact.

I did say 'confirmed contact' - a phone call is confirmed, sending a message by any method into the ether will not be as instant, and no guarantee we have picked it up. Simply, there's no confirmation we received it.

As its hardly a matter of life or death, a little time would have been appreciated to get round the forums - this is one of at least 4 I check daily, but usually only once a day.

For the benefit of other existing and prospective customers, in the last 20 years we have earned a reputation as being open about our products, providing good advice based on our experience in this area, and having our phone number clearly displayed for ease of contact. Its always disappointing when something (very rarely) goes wrong, we work to correct that as soon as we know.
We may not be the cheapest, but then Mercedes aren't either...

I'll draw a line under this now.
