Timeport Motorola phone for 2001 S500

Has anyone had to replace their phone on their S500. The car is fine, but after almost three years, the phone has started to have some problems. It doesn't ring anymore, and I can't be heard quite often. But a three-year-old cell phone is a dinosaur. Motorola can't fix it, etc. To get a new one wired in to the car is about $2500! Has anyone else done this or had this problem? Thanks.

You will be able to fit a nokia 6310I kit using clk parts this will interface with the steering wheel controls and radio cost about 1000- 1200 dollars. if your not bothered about the steering wheel controls just get a standard hands free car kit to suit which ever phone you have, or ask about bluetooth car kits
