how often does one change the timing chain on the 190e-1.8 litre -1993 car?- its been regularly serviced and has done 111,000 miles.
i have no problems with engine noises or rattles apart from on initial start up for 1 or 2 seconds, while the oil is getting around the engine.
there is no mention of this in the owners manual or the haynes manual,only thing i do know is that the chain on my car is a twin type ie 2 chains side by side when a looked at it through the oil filler cap .
