- C230 Kompressor, M111.975, 1997
Good Day. Howard here. My C230K was obtained brand new in 1997 (M111.975). 327k on the clock.
It still runs but sluggish. I plan to replace the timing chain and guide rails at this stage, amongst other things.
Timing is out: Inlet camshaft = 27degrees ATDC and exhaust camshaft 33 degree ATDC.
I am familiar with timing belt changes in the past and read a lot about timing chain changes but needs some
Step by Step tutorial, including the removal of the guide rails. Is removing of the upper timing cover
sufficient for guide rail (2) removal?
Regards,
Howard
