Timing chain

I have conflicted reports on the timing chain for my car ( 220 CDI ) Some say change at 155k and I even had one say good for 600k So yet again I am confused and not sure

No set interval. Change when it gets noisy.
To extend its life don't use stop/start.

And oil changes at more regular intervals than maker states .changing oil n filter is cheapest most effective thing you can do to preserve yr motor and these days its suck oil out and one large filter spanner,socket.simples....
