Have an 03 CLK500, Mercedes says for the tire pressures 30front & 33 rear but over 100mph 35 front & 38 rear. From what I am reading on some forums due to the heavy engine up front people running 30 & 35 up front normal driving are encountering premature sidewall wear from underinflation & some are suggesting 36-37 up front. What do you think. Also using the 100mph ratings would any problem be using them for just regular driving.

Your Mercedes
A diesel
The heavy front tyre wear is probably down to people turning the steering whilst stationary rather than the engine weight.
