to much noise from my slk

have a mercedes slk 230 from 1999 R 170 which makes a lot of noise from the rear pot when it is started, think it is a sports pot that sits on it now, can i get a standard rear pot for this model, that do not make as much noise,,,,,, and where can i buy such one

You might be able to get a standard exhaust from a breakers

We have car dismantlers here (breakers) that might be a good source for a cheap standard exhaust. I fear a Mercedes dealership could be very expensive for one.
