I have a E320 Est 2000 with a AUDIO 10 stereo and have purchased a tomtom 910. The problem is that I can't see where to plug the tomtom stereo cable. Do I have to fit an adapter of some sort??
Any advice would be appreciated as the whole point (or certainly one of them) was to play music from the tomtom through the stereo speakers.

Hi

Not sure exactly about the equipment you have got, but having messed around with a hard wired tomtom 300, different radios, CD changers and phone handsfree kits I would guess that your tomtom must be able to store mp3 files. That being the case I would think you will need an adapter to plug your tomtom output into an aux-in socket on your car radio (provided your factory radio has such a socket). Definitely worth talking to a good ICE specialist as there is likely to be an adaptor available to do the job.

Does your stereo have the ability to control a CD changer and also does the tomtom have the facilities to be controled by the radio head unit?

Hi
The merc audio 10 has a multi changer and as far as I can see cannot control the tomtom from the radio head. The tomtom controls the mp3 music, phone etc. It can also send the music via bluetooth to the radio - do you know if a bluetooth adapter is available??
Regards
Keith
