I have just taken my W203 2006 C Class for its first service (A) at Lanes of Lichfield an indipendant MB specialist in the Midlands
Not only were they half price but also gave good advice. I enquired about if they could have the mirrors fold in when locking the car. They advised me this could be done with the diagnostics but advised against it as the amount of mirrors they had replace with faulty wiring.
I also enq about changing the permenant Kmh in the dash to the temp or mph. Lanes made a few phone calls and the reply was this could not be done on uk spec cars
