Top up or down whilst in garage?

I’ve a CLK (a208) tucked up in the garage. She’s on a trickle charge, but I’m just having too much fun with a new to me SL350 (r230) the moment to take the CLK out. It’s pretty tight in the garage so she’s parked top down so I can get in or out.

For the next month or so - what would be the best way to leave the top - up or down?

Top up so it stays stretched and the folds don't go hard and crack

I push my SLK in and out of my garage - drivers window left down so I can put the key in - I then use a broom to press the brake pedal so I can put the gear lever into neutral

You could teach that smaller person what to do !

Top up with window slightly open to keep the air circulating. Make sure its clean inside, you dont want mice coming in.

Parked top down to save space? - Surely it would only make about 100mm difference max?

It’s easier to get in and out without the top up

Have you seen the size of a Cardinal spider? They are about 1cm smaller than the Australian Huntsman. I had a Cardinal spider in my flat in Reading. I do not want one in my car
