Hi all,

I’d like to change the large track control arms (not the smaller ones with the separate ball joint) and the anti roll bar links on the front of my W212 but I don’t know the correct torque settings to use when putting everything back together again.

Could anybody enlighten me on the torque settings, please?

Its likely that the two bolts at the bottom of the strut need to come off too to get access to the main bolt for the large control arm, so would need the setting for that too, and any others that I’m not aware of, to get the strut off!!!

I can find the info for a 211 with the double wishbone, but not for the McPherson setup of the 212.

Cheers,

Ed

the bit that matters is they are done up at mid laden position - so you don't rip the bushes to bits as you did the bolts up with the suspension fully extended

Thanks for that - I am aware and I've managed to find the torque settings, too. Thanks again!
