I have just purchased my very first MB having traded in my ultra-rare Alfa Romeo Italia Independent and I think I made the right decision, not that Alfa owners will agree, sorry! Only had her a few days, lots to learn as there's so much to these cars it blows my mind but she is lovely, my partner a Jeep owner says it's the scariest car, speed-wise, he's ever driven  :)

Hello and welcome
We've had 3 Alfa's, first was a 156 V6, 3 years and 35000 miles of trouble free motoring, a 916 Spider Twin Spark again 3 years and 30000 miles trouble free and one 156 I bought to break.
We were told by a mechanic friend when we were looking at an Alfa not to buy it as it will spend more time in the garage than on the road.....Ha! Prooved him wrong :D
We have Mercedes again now ;)

Hi and thank you. The Alfa never let me down but things were just starting to cost and I knew it would just get worse, replaced the light clusters once and needed doing again, had repairs done on fuel tank sender unit as a hole appeared....how?? I needed a more up-to-date car and now I have one within my price range, looking forward to many trips out in her :)

Welcome from another SLC250d owner, to be exact its the wife car. We have had it 3 years & very pleased with it.
Previously the wife had 2 SLK200's, did about 120K miles in both of them no issues at all.

Hi Sonic, thank you for the welcome :) Yes my other half loves driving her and that's good to know, hoping to have a problem-free journey with her :D

It has given you fairly good service then the Alfa, like us, time to move them on as age creeps up on everything :(
All the SLK's we've had have been virtually trouble free and if the SLC is the model after then you should have no issues at all :)
