tow bar lighting

I will be fitting a tow bar to my 2001 C220 CDI.Is there a dedicated harness you can get or can you splice into the wiring for lights indicators etc. also has anyone fitted aftermarket park sensors,will it upset any sensors if you splice into reverse light wire.

Ask your MB dealer for a print out of the tow hitch wiring.

Many thanks for the reply.I have a wiring diagram just wondered if i could splice into wires for ind,brks etc. Have done this on older cars.

If you took it into a tow hitch firm they would do just that, use the connectors that bite into the cable, as they can always be removed without cutting any wires.
