Tow bar on ml270

Anyone have a idea on a price for a tow bar fitted on a ml270 ?

An aftermarket towbar with coded electrics could be between £600 - 850 but wouldn't upgrade any of the car's systems. MB in Edinburgh wanted £1800 to do my car, but MB automatically assume that you will tow to the car's limits and upgrade the cooling system and possibly the transmission cooling accordingly.

Agents for Witter seem to be cheapest but some I spoke to didn't fill me with confidence...but neither did the 2 MB dealerships I spoke to!
