Tow Bar - Where to get one SE London/Northkent area

Hi

I want to tow a small caravan with my 1989 230te.
I have to have a towbar fitted and was wandering if anyone's had one fitted to this model, and what would be the rough cost plus if anybody knows a good place to go in my area.

Thanks for all your help on here, this websites a great idea, especially for owners of older models.

where abouts in Kent are you? i am in Maidstone, and usually use Trident Trailers, (http://www.tridenttrailers.co.uk/)  they will either supply and fit, or just supply.

Mine came with the tow bar fitted so i can't tell you how easy/difficult it is, but if my previous saloon is anything to go by, then its a piece of cake, you just have to get the right equipment to suit the bulb failure warning.

The proprioter is a bit of a knob!! but they may be closer to you than Maidstone.

I'm in Orpington.
Ive heard horror stories of cowboys who could'nt wire a plug, messing up the electrics/lights etc.
I'll keep investigating as I'm sure someone out there knows a decent one around my way.
Dartford isnt far, but how much of a knob is this bloke  i.e has he messed you about in the past?
