Is it possible to tow an auto (w124). I always thought that you either had to disconnect propshaft or put on transporter.
If i am right, what would the damage be to the auto box?
Thanks

The info is in the handbook. It'll also tell you how far you can tow it and at what speeds

Unusually, the W124 has the autobox pump driven by the output shaft so you can tow it and you can tow-start it

You can tow the car a max of 25 miles, at a speed of not more than 30MPH

Hope this helps:D
