Transmission Fluid

Is it possible to just replace the Tran’s fluid on its own or do you have to replace all the other extras which mount up in cost? IE: Tran’s gasket, filter, seal ring, diplock etc.

You could replace only the trans' oil but there wouldnt be much sense in doing only that and the trans oil filter is a relatively small capacity one so it only takes a small amount of debris to restrict its flow, therefore best to renew it.

It would be like changing the engine oil but not the filter!.

If a jobs worth doing it's worth doing well or not at all.
