Shell ATF 3403-M 115

These are the fluids and yes you need to buy a dip stick and seal for the cap on the measuring tube

If you are not changing the fluid in the torque convertor it will be around 4 liters

722.600/601/604/605/606/607/608/609/611/614/616/617/618/629/634/639/660/661/662/664/665/666//661/662/664/665/689/695/699/996.

for new box 7.5 litres (+0.5)

MB 236.10 ATF A001 989 2303...MB 236.10 001 989 2103..........

Shell ATF 3403-M 115

Hello, your leak will be coming from the electical connection plug or gearbox cone as its callled.
Replace this as well as the sump pan gasket, its very easy to change

Agreed, TV is our God......!!!!!

I've never known him be wrong. Measure out and measure in - that seems to be the way.

Not the way to do it if (as in the case of the op 'gert') you've already lost atf fluid due to a leak.

gert, Go to another MB dealer and get the dipstick (as television) .....about £25.
