Might anyone happen to know how to remove the transmission pressure cable from the transmission side (722.5 transmission / W140 chassis / 1993 300SE)? There is a rod coming from the transmission (above the valve body/intermediate plate) that is holding onto the pressure cable.
Can't seem to detach the rod from the transmission, and don't want to pry or pull the rod from the pressure cable link for fear of breaking the pressure cable assembly (plastics).
