I trapped seat belt buckle in door on C Class C-200 CDI, since then, interior light does not come on when door is opened, and when moving forward or reverse, the door open warning alarms displays on panel and you get a bleep once.

Have I blown a fuse etc. I have had a look through the forum but cannot see similar problem.

Hi there,

It is possible the door switch pin has been damaged.

What year is the car? 202 or 203
