anyone know if any of the mercedes clubs are going up there this year? was considering going but would rather take the car onto a club area than public parking tbh :)

nope , been up there before , all sorts of cars turn up and its not a bad day out , true you do get alot of hot hatchs , but also alot of top end stuff the kiddies cant possibly afford , ive seen some nice rare motors up there , funny to watch idiots blow there motor up on the track sessions too , seen a cossy catch fire and a sand trap destroy a corvette front end for example

I thought that those trax meetings where just boy racers in their hot hatches.

oi!

im going to trax. in my saxo. lol

trax is the main show of the season. it is open to ANY car. the first big show this year, the French Car Show, one might say was full of boy racers, as it was full of pug 106's citroen saxos and clios. lol

aye i suppose so to a certian extent lol , there is a great deal of modded 'teen' saxo's n clio's , but there is some cool stuff there also , and tbh some of the boy racer cars aint half bad . some of them spend lunacy amounts of cash modding them. i can sympathize too as i went through that stage in my teen/early 20's too.
main reason for me going there though is to get on silverstone with my own car , makes it well worth it. not sure id want to take the merc on there though :) just seems wrong to do such a thing in my eyes lol.

I dont mind I've done a few track days in the 55, that's what it was built for.
