when the weather improves, im going to attempt to tackle the rust on the rear wheelarches of my 1999 w210. what holds the trims in place at the front edge of the rear wheelarches, where they join the sills, and how can i remove them, preferably without breaking whatever clips hold them on? also, can the rear door mouldings be removed without removing the inner door trims etc or not?

On the door strips there is a tiny screw at one end, remove it and the trim slides off,,its in keyhole type slots

nice one. any ideas for the little black plastic trims where the rear arch joins the sill? or does a screwdriver in from the front edge and gently lever it off do the trick?

Thinking back and looking at the link there is a hole with a plastic bung and the moulding just prises off. the moulding has a peg on the rear, with a flat blunt blade, just lifting one edge, you should see the peg, that fits in the hole
