trying to find hydraulic tappet

Does anyone know where I can get 1 ( one ) hydraulic tappet for my e300 td avantgarde 1998 ?
Dealer says they only supply the full set ! Thanks.

I would have thought due to the amount of work involded it would be more benificial to replace all the lifters, have you tried Euro or GSF for the parts.

Whilst you have everything apart it would make sense to replace them all and the other thing is could you be sure that you had replaced the offending tappet?

Thanks for the info.mb dealer here in Spain wants 350 euros for complete set,no way Jose'. GSF will supply ONE for £9.50 +vat.
