Trying to get my dashcam to work or even set it

I seem to have a dashcam in my c 180 but I can't seem to access the USB or memory card slot. I don't know if it even has power to it.

It's a lumpmof plastic that looks the part but at the moment it's not much more.

Or am I confusing this with the rain sensor?

Looks like a rain sensor to me.
