I am trying to separate the lock cylinder from the housing/body on the door lock by removing the two roll pins, but on my 1993 W124 lock the pins cannot be punched out, they have to be draget out since there is no hole to punch it out of on the other side. Have anyone here done this? If so it would be great to know which tool that are the best to use.

You have a rubber grommet,on the edge of the door, pull this out, and you put a Allen key in and undo the screw ,with key in lock, when you feel key in lock loose pull key out with lock.

Smart + others :)
You have to drill the opposite side with a tiny drill and punch out.
