I am trying to track down forum member Mercmonkey, the reasons why can be see in the following thread

Currently, he has my money and I have no laptop, anyone else bought anything from this guy?

I offered a MB car radio and 6 CD changer free for the cost of the postage.
Mercmonkey said he would like it, he has the radio, but has never paid the postage. I am only £8.75 out of pocket.

Do you still have his address, I do. Wonder if it is the same one he gave you.

You cant hang someone until you know all the facts, sometimes things go wrong with buisiness, private life, divorce etc. We all respond in a different manner to crissis. I have had some events in my life where I just could not even answer the phone, talk or respond to anyone for several days.

I learnt years ago it is dangerous to put people in little boxes without knowing all of the facts, I know we can get angry if we feel we have been cheated, that feeling passes. Don't do what you cant undo if you are wrong.

I am with Malcolm on this, no need to hang the guy if he puts right what has been wrong.

Don't get me wrong, am I sorely upset about what happened, mainly due to consequential issues within my family, but in the end I did get the goods. If in addition debts with others are also being settled, then something good has come out of this situation.

I don't know what is truth or what isn't any more, but actions speak louder than words, and right now, it seems that some positive actions are coming out of the situation.
