Trying to update my profile photo

I am struggling to update my profile photo so until I work out how to do it, here's a sneak preview

Profile page (top RHS) - Avatar (7th tab on the LHS) - Copy the pic you want to use into the box and click OK.

Thanks. I have tried this but my technical skills are obviously lacking. I get an error message saying the photo is too large (i.e. too many pixels) but elsewhere a program is saying I have saved it to a smaller size!

If you right click your photo below which I have resized, save it on your PC (save image as), then upload it to use as your avatar.

Edit, 2nd photo resized in case you want to use that one.
