Hi
I've recently bought a decent 1986 SL 500. It's in good shape and runs very smoothly. I've had it wax oiled to protect it underneath a bit, but was thinking what I could to do to liven up the engine a bit. It's got great power, and pulls away nicely, but I wondered if tuning the engine would produce any significant improvements in acceleration ?
I am presuming that you can't superchip a 1986 SL ! I should probably stop tinkering and be happy that it's in great condition but I thought I'd ask if anyone knew about this.
Thanks
Dan
